I love having peace of mind. It’s deep down inside of me because of the joy of the Lord!
I’ve been wanting to write a lengthier blog on this thing since I made an account on here. But I’m just now doing it after having it for a few months. Soooo here it goes lol:
So I moved to Alabama a little over two years ago and my view of Jesus, and God have changed dramatically. God isn’t the same person to me as He was when I first moved here. Not that He changed, but my view just changed. I see Him as a Father who never leaves now. He will love me even when I can’t give anything back to Him. He loves me with no strings attached and He doesn’t expect anything back from me. That is one of my FAVORITE things about God: He doesn’t expect anything back from me. He doesn’t expect anything back from me. He doesn’t expect anything back from me.
AH! That is flippin’ music to my ears. I LOVE LOVE LOVE knowing that. He doesn’t expect anything back from me. That is so freeing to me. Everytime I think about it, I get more freed up. He loved me just as much as He does now in the worst moment of my life(paraphrased from Brian Shield’s message @ Fervent Life KY). He doesn’t expect anything back from me.
I’m sure that’s getting pretty redundant by now, so sorry hahaha. ;) My righteous acts are filthy rags. But God STILL loves me. I am made righteous through Jesus. I have peace with God. MAN, I feel so clean. I can rest in the finished work of the cross, and let Jesus lift me up. I don’t have to promote myself, or compete with others. I know that ALL of heaven’s eyes are on me. I have God’s attention 24/5/365, and throughout all of eternity. I can pour my love on Jesus without shame, because He loves me, He loves me, He loves loves loves me!!
Well that’s all for now, friends! :)
PS-I’m still stuck in 2011. Almost everytime I date something I still put 2011… hehehehe!
